Angus-Hamer Networking, Incorporated is a
Northern California-based network consulting firm specializing in Information Systems
Project Management, implementing LAN/WAN Networks, Systems and Security Management,
Low Voltage Communications System Design, and Internet/Intranet Information Services. The
company was incorporated in California on January 1st, 1996. The firm was founded
by former Hewlett-Packard Network Consultants and Software Engineers to meet market demand
for network integration services. Averaging over 28 successful years of information
technology experience, our partners provide and manage a wide variety of network-related
consulting services ranging from management consulting, project management, network
requirements analysis, design, and detailed implementation services. Our customers range
from educational institutions, electronics industry, health marketing, financial, and
various government agencies.
Angus-Hamer Networking is organized around and focuses on two separate, but related consulting
product lines:
Network, Systems, and Security Consulting
- General Network Operating Systems (Unix, Microsoft, and Novell) planning, design, implementation, and maintenance.
Angus-Hamer Networking has Unix, Novell, and Microsoft-certified engineers on staff.
- Data Network Security (security auditing, firewalls, intrusion detection, authentication, penetration testing, etc.) planning, design, implementation, and maintenance services.
- Internet Information Services (DNS, E-Mail, WWW, etc.) planning, design implementation, and maintenance services.
- Data Network Electronics (LAN and WAN) planning, design, and implementation services.
Technical Information Systems Management Consulting
- Application systems needs analysis, software vendor evaluation, fit gap analysis, project management, technical budgeting, and RFP development and implementation services.
- Technical organizational analysis and restructuring consulting.
- Temporary technical management staffing.
Intelligent Building Consulting
- Planning, Design, and Implementation Management Services for voice, data systems,
CATV, audio-visual,
public address, fire alarm, intrusion detection, and other low-voltage communication systems.

Networking has Registered Communications Distribution Designers (RCDD) and National Institute for Certifications in Engineering Technologies (NICET) Level 4 designers on staff.
Angus-Hamer Networking has a diverse customer base and has extensive experience providing
network consulting solutions to commercial, government, financial, and educational
customers. Our office is located in the Sacramento area. We have completed many
successful consulting projects in the Sacramento Region, the San Francisco Bay Area, and
rural counties throughout Northern California.
